Exploring new horizons! πŸŽ“βœ¨

Our Huckleberry ACE Academy rising seniors just returned from an unforgettable tour of universities across Southern California. For many of our first-generation students, these campus visits are vital opportunities to experience college life first-hand, explore different departments, and envision their own futures on campuses that might otherwise seem out of reach. 🚌🏫

One of our rising seniors describes it here: "I loved the experience of going to the So. Cal trip. I am very grateful for the opportunity of being able to visit schools in person. I enjoyed hanging with my class and getting to joke around with the ACE Team. Though it was very hot, everyone enjoyed seeing new campuses and looking through the campus stores." 😎

Yep, Bay Area kids have to acclimate to that So. Cal weather. But we know they can handle it, along with more new experiences and challenges, too. β˜€οΈ

We are so proud of the ACE crew for taking this important step toward their future! Through ACE programming, they’re accessing educational opportunities, breaking down barriers, and realizing their own power and potential. πŸ’œ
