About the Huckleberry Youth Health Center
The Huckleberry Youth Health Center is the headquarters of Huckleberry Cole Street Youth, including the Cole Street Clinic, Client Services, Counseling, and Huckleberry Health Education.
Located at 555 Cole Street (at Haight Street) in San Francisco, Huckleberry Youth Health Center offers medical services, including case management and service linkages. Other services provided include: bagged lunches, water, clothing, shoes, hygiene supplies, case management appointments, referrals for therapy, and linkages/referrals as needed.

Huckleberry Youth Health Center: Client Services
Huckleberry Client Services provides low-barrier, client-centered services to teens and Transitional Age Youth (TAY) ages 16 to 24. Services include: case management, service navigation, counseling, referrals, and youth engagement.
Basic-need resources, such as clothing, shoes, hygiene supplies, water, and snacks, are available on a drop-in basis. Other services are provided by appointment. If you or someone you know would like to donate supplies, please contact 415-386-9398.
Clinic Services are available by appointment, but drop-ins are welcome! Clinic staff does not take appointments between 1 pm and 2 pm and after 4:30 pm daily.

Huckleberry Youth Health Center: Cole Street Clinic
The clinic is a collaborative effort involving Huckleberry Youth Programs, the San Francisco Department of Public Health, and the University of California at San Francisco’s Division of Adolescent Medicine. The clinic offers comprehensive, age-appropriate, culturally sensitive adolescent health services to teens and transitional-age youth (TAY).
Clinic Services Include:
- Primary and reproductive health care
- Birth Control
- HIV & STI testing
- Pregnancy Testing and Counseling
- Drop-in and referral services
Services are Free and Confidential
If you are 12 or over, you can consent for your own treatment and do not need a parent or guardian’s permission to receive sexual health services or certain types of counseling.
Hours of Operation for Medical Services:
Tuesdays & Thursdays
9:00 am to 5:00 pm, by appointment only
The last appointment each day is at 4:30 pm, and the clinic is closed for lunch daily from noon to 1:00 pm.
Huckleberry Youth Health Center: Counseling
Huckleberry offers affordable and accessible mental health services. No one is turned away for inability to pay. As a Medi-Cal provider site, we offer services at no fee to those with full-scope Medi-Cal. In addition, we have an adjustable sliding scale that adjusts to $0 based on income and circumstances.
