Huckleberry’s Spring Gala – View the Gala Photos

by

Our 2019 Spring Gala on Thurs. April 11, highlighted the work of Huckleberry’s Community Assessment & Resource Center (CARC), celebrating its 20th Anniversary of diverting arrested youth from the juvenile justice system, keeping them in school, and on a path to success. Huckleberry’s CARC has provided case management to 7,494 San Francisco arrested youth in the past two decades.

CARC sees 270 non-violent offenders annually, the majority of whom are police-delivered and 72% of young people are not rearrested within a year of completing the program.

Thank you to the 300 attendees of Huckleberry’s 2019 Spring Gala at the Four Seasons on Thursday, April 11.

Special thanks to our Gala Committee, Benefactor Table Hosts, Corporate and Foundation Sponsors, Mayor London Breed, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond, Mimi Silbert, CEO of Delancey Street Foundation, and Shanell Williams, Community Engagement Director for the UCSF Preterm Birth Initiative.
