The episode explores how Huckleberry Youth Programs has grown from establishing the first youth shelter in the United States in 1967, Huckleberry House, to a continuum of holistic services serving nearly 6,000 youth each year across San Francisco and Marin Counties.
Today, youth engaged in Huckleberry’s services experience personal growth, stability, stronger family and community connections, and improved physical and mental health.
