Housed under the Huckleberry Youth Health Center in San Francisco, the Health Education Team aims to educate, inform, and empower youth with knowledge that will help them make healthy decisions in their lives and their communities.
We serve the youth and communities of San Francisco in a multitude of ways…
We facilitate workshops on reproductive health topics for high school-aged youth in school settings and community-based organizations including:
- Healthy Sexuality
- Reproductive Anatomy
- Birth Control Methods/Contraception and MORE!

BECOME A HUCKLEBERRY PEER HEALTH EDUCATOR!
Peer Health Educators (PHEs) internship – we recruit, select, and train high school youth through a competitive interview process to be part of a 5 week, paid internship to become “ambassadors of health” between Huckleberry and their communities.
HIV Youth Prevention Education Workshops (HYPE)
HIV Youth Prevention Education (HYPE)– a powerful three-part workshop series that allows young people to understand different biological, social, and emotional aspects of HIV/AIDS. Learn more about HYPE here.
