We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming Block Party!
Huckleberry’s community celebration brings health resources, connections, and joy directly to young people who need them most.
When: April 15th, 3-5pm
Where: Cole Street Clinic, 555 Cole Street Clinic, San Francisco, CA
What makes this special
This isn’t your typical health fair. Building on two years of success, our Block Party creates a welcoming, fun space where Transitional-Age Youth and the broader community can access free rapid HIV and Hepatitis C testing alongside food, resources, clothes, and genuine connection, all without barriers or judgment.
Why it matters
Young people deserve healthcare and support that meets them where they are. By bringing testing, resources, and community partners directly into the neighborhood, we’re removing obstacles and building trust. Last year, we connected dozens of young people with critical health information and services they might not have accessed otherwise.
How you can help
We need our community to make this an impactful event. Here are some ways to get involved:
Community Partners: Are you an organization serving young people? Join us in putting resources directly into their hands.
Donations Needed: Help us provide essentials for young people attending:
- Gift cards (Target, grocery stores, transit)
- Hygiene products
- Snacks and beverages
- Safer sex supplies
- Resource materials
Financial Support: Sponsor the event to cover testing supplies, food, entertainment, and resources. Every dollar helps us reach more youth.
Interested in participating? Email our Director of Health Services, Keana Giles, kgiles@huckleberryyouth.org
Mark your calendars and be sure to join us! Together, we’re building a community where young people have access to the care, resources, and support they deserve.
