We’re thrilled to share that Huckleberry was selected as a primary beneficiary of CHEER for Life Foundation and CHEER San Francisco for the 2024-2025 program year! This fall, we received a $25,000 grant as part of CHEER’s incredible $50,000 distribution supporting nine local organizations doing vital work across the Bay Area.
CHEER for Life focuses on three key areas: direct service delivery in the San Francisco Bay Area, support for those living with HIV/AIDS or other life-challenging conditions, and LGBTQ+-centered programs. What makes this partnership so special? It goes far beyond a check. CHEER for Life builds meaningful, year-long relationships with beneficiaries – bringing increased awareness, volunteer power, and genuine community connection to amplify the work we do together.
This year has been full of joyful collaboration! From joining CHEER San Francisco at their high-energy cheer practices (yes, our staff got their pom-poms on!) to hosting them at our health clinic’s block party, celebrating together at our Hearts in Harmony after-party, and participating in SF Pride – every moment has reminded us of the power of partnership. We’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up, cheers loudly (literally!), and invests in organizations creating real change. Our hearts are full, and we’re excited for what’s ahead!
