🌟 Recently, our justice team had the incredible opportunity to gather with The California Wellness Foundation and our fellow grantee partners for a day dedicated to rest, reflection, and reconnection. 🌼✨

In a field that often demands so much from us, this event was a much-needed reminder that our well-being is essential to our impact. We enjoyed yoga, sound baths, healing practices, chair massages, live music, and delicious, nourishing food. But most importantly, we connected with others who understand the challenges and joys of this work. 🤝💖

Cal Wellness reminded us: "You give so much to your work and your communities. You deserve moments of care, joy, and restoration, too."

We left feeling centered and supported, with a renewed understanding that taking care of ourselves is key to continuing the important work we do for our communities. We are grateful for partners like Cal Wellness, who champion the idea that rest is resistance and care is collective. 🌱❤️
