Legacy gifts are transformative for Huckleberry Youth Programs. As funding sources shift, or unforeseen events occur in our community, legacy gifts provide essential unrestricted funds that allow Huckleberry to offer youth-centered, holistic care for generations of Bay Area youth.
Common Types of Legacy Gifts Include:Β
BEQUESTS: One of the easiest ways to help involves simply naming Huckleberry Youth Programs as a beneficiary in your estate plan. A bequest may be for a particular dollar amount or a percentage of your estate. Estate tax savings may be significant.
LIFE INSURANCE POLICY & RETIREMENT ASSETS: Naming Huckleberry as a partial beneficiary of these assets provides much needed support for our programming.
LIFE INCOME GIFTS: Life income gifts allow you to leave a gift in the care of Huckleberry while earning income for yourself during your lifetime. The two most popular life income gifts are charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities.
