Huckleberry Youth Programs continues to provide vital programming to youth and families during COVID-19.
Huckleberry House, our 24-hour crisis shelter, has been deemed an essential service under the San Francisco COVID-19 Shelter in Place order and will remain open as other Huckleberry programs operate remotely.
Our staff is dedicated to providing crisis stabilization and family reunification services for those in need, but we need your help.
Thanks to the Carolyn & Peter Friedman Foundation and an Anonymous Donor, donations made during the coronavirus pandemic will be matched DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR up to $50,000!

- A $100 gift provides one hour of individual counseling services for a young person who has experienced abuse and neglect, homelessness, community violence, or other types of trauma. Huckleberry therapists from each of our programs continue to meet with clients virtually.
- A $500 gift provides a runaway or homeless youth with two days at Huckleberry House (a licensed shelter), hot meals, counseling, and family support services.
- All gifts will help Huckleberry make up for critical funds we normally would raise at our major spring fundraiser, Run for Roses, which regrettably had to be cancelled.
