On May 13, 2017, Huckleberry Youth Programs is hitting the pavement, with staff and youth running side by side to raise funds for programs that have served more than 180,000 youth in San Francisco and Marin over 50 years.
For teens and their families everywhere, adolescence can be a difficult time. Though challenging, adolescence presents a unique opportunity to change course and make choices that will lead to a more promising future. Through programming that pursues SAFETY, HEALTH, JUSTICE, and EDUCATION, Huckleberry partners with youth and families to make those futures possible.
For our youth in training, this race represents a pivotal step. They are choosing teamwork, dedication, endurance, and resilience, and Huckleberry staff are by their side as their allies, just as we are through the services that this race will help fund.
