Huckleberry Wellness Academy-Marin students, Class of 2012

Huckleberry Wellness Academy-Marin primarily recruits Latino youth in San Rafael and Novato. The students participating in the Huckleberry Wellness Academy-Marin are recruited during their Freshman year in high school and continue the program through their first year of post-secondary education.

The Huckleberry Wellness Academy-Marin provides training in health education, internship placements in health care settings, academic preparation and tutoring, exposure to health professions, parent support and education, case management, and individual and family counseling. Our program model is strengthened through partnerships with San Rafael City Schools, 10,000 Degrees, and Marin Community Foundation.
