Vicki has been with HYP for over 15 years and received the Audrey Chickering Award in 2003. Before joining HYP, she was the High School Principal at Loretto Academy in El Paso, Texas, where she was responsible for the supervision of all operations, administration and faculty of a private high school with a student population of 450 and a faculty/staff of 50. Vicki has a BA in English and Elementary Education from Webster University, Masters in English from St. Louis University, and MTS Graduate Theological Union at Berkeley. She is an avid watercolor painter and loves swimming in the ocean with dolphins and/or humpback whales. Her favorite quote is “A woman is like a tea bag – you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water,” by Eleanor Roosevelt. She loves her cats, Sluggo and Socrates.
