Throughout its history, the programs and services of Huckleberry
Youth Programs have been characterized by:
- a commitment to community-based and
collaborative services for at-risk youth;
- attention to the urgency, complexity and
ever-changing nature of the needs presented by at-risk youth;
- recognition of the value and dignity of young
people and belief in their capacity to become healthy, creative adults.
Today, Huckleberry Youth Programs is a major community-based
youth agency, providing critical and effective services to homeless,
runaway and other at-risk youth in San Francisco and Marin counties
through seven distinct, but interrelated programs:
