Dinner at Huckleberry's is a special program that raises funds for meals provided to at-risk young clients who benefit from Huckleberry House's and Nine Grove Lane's crisis shelter counseling and adolescent health services. Each young person who stays is provided with three daily meals as part of their crisis shelter services. On any given day, both Huckleberry House and Nive Grove Lane have six male and female young people staying at the house. Bay Area companies and organization sponsor one month of meals for these young clients with a gift of $1500.This generous financial and volunteer support directly impacts the lives of young people in crisis and offers companies and their employees an opportunity to participate in a rewarding, hands-on program. The figures listed above represent Huckleberry Youth Programs' costs to feed young clients receiving services on a daily basis. Sponsors can take pride in knowing their gift will directly support the needs of young people in crisis.
