Originally from Los Angeles, Jaclynn has spent the last decade roaming.. After earning her BA from UC Davis, she spent several years abroad, where she joined tsunami-recovery efforts in Thailand and mudslide clean-up in Guatemala, worked on organic farms in Costa Rica and New Zealand, rode a motorbike across Cambodia, and lived off of baked beans and toast while studying in London. At home, she has coordinated summer programming for teens living with life-threatening illnesses, worked as a medical social worker for youth and families, and organized community health promotion with migrant farmworkers and free clinics. After receiving her Masters in Public Health and Masters in Social Work at the University of Michigan, she found her way back to the Bay. Her most prized talents are her ability to catch rattlesnakes, and her extraordinary dedication to Sunday brunch.
