Huckleberry CARC Clients, Raul and George*

Raul and George* were brought to Huckleberry CARC by the SF Police Department for graffiti vandalism. CARC Case Manager Harvey Lozada took notice of how much the young men were progressing through case management and support services and encouraged them to team up and follow their passion for art. Harvey suggested that they write a proposal to an organization that funds youth art projects. The two young men wrote a proposal and were awarded a $7,000 grant to complete four
mural projects throughout San Francisco.
